The Boyne Valley Tour
The Boyne Valley lies approximately 1 hour north of Dublin, overlapping the counties of Meath and Louth. On this tour visit Newgrange, the Neolithic burial site which dates back over 5000 years. Then see the 10th century High Crosses at Monasterboice and the Cistercian Abbey of Mellifont founded by St. Malachy in 1142. Stop by the site of the Battle of the Boyne, fought in 1690 between King James II and William of Orange. This tour brings us about an hour North of Dublin.
